What kinds of escape room props can you build?

One-off electronic, mechanical and connected props: sensor-driven puzzles, physical controls, timed challenges, lighting and audio feedback, show-control systems, portable team games and unusual ideas that cross several disciplines.

Can you create a one-off prototype?

Yes. A project can begin with a focused proof of concept before moving into a complete, serviceable build. That is useful when an interaction, mechanism or wireless setup needs to be proven first.

Can you work with an existing room or prop?

Often, yes. We can assess an existing room, prop or game and propose a retrofit, replacement controller or new interaction while working around its space, reset and maintenance constraints.

How much does a bespoke build cost?

There is no useful one-size price: the mechanism, electronics, fabrication, finish, installation and number of units all matter. Your brief does not need to be technical; share the intended player moment, venue, timescale and working budget, and we can suggest the right level of build.

How early should we get you involved?

Early enough to shape the concept is ideal, especially where electronics and mechanics affect scenery or room layout. A developed idea is welcome too; we will start by identifying what is fixed and what still needs proving.

Can accessibility requirements be designed in?

Yes. We can discuss accessibility needs at the start and design for them explicitly: visual alternatives to audio, shape or texture alongside colour, readable feedback, reachable controls and adjustable timing. The right approach depends on the intended players, venue and experience.

Do you work on projects across the UK?

Yes. PuzzleFoundry welcomes enquiries from across the United Kingdom. Discovery and design can happen remotely, with delivery, installation and support planned around the project.
